veteran guard with starting-point-guard chops and score-first pop
Mychala Linzy is a 5-foot-4 guard whose best case is steady, experienced backcourt control: McNeese lists her as a guard, and a later coaching bio says she served as the Cowgirls’ starting point guard and helped them reach the Southland Conference Tournament. In her 2020-21 season at McNeese, she averaged 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game, so she brings some scoring punch and toughness, though efficiency was modest. She looks like a fit for teams needing a compact, competitive floor general rather than a pure volume creator.
