Coy DeFury brings left-handed pop and clutch bat-to-ball juice to Texas State
In the 2025 season, Coy DeFury hit .284 with a .380 OBP, .440 SLG, 5 home runs and 19 RBI for Texas State, and he already showed a knack for big moments with a walk-off single in May and a two-run homer in regional play. He was described by Texas State as a left-handed power hitter who can hit for average, control the strike zone and drive the ball out of the park. That profile makes him a useful fit for teams wanting an infielder with competitive edge, situational hitting and real middle-of-the-lineup upside.
