a low-usage Lamar guard with prior scoring chops, but limited recent production
Donte Lopez is a **5-8 freshman guard** at Lamar whose current impact has been modest, with listed averages of **1.6 points, 0.6 assists, and 0.3 steals per game** among guards in the available data. [1][4] His value is more about depth and fit than box-score pop right now, but his earlier West Brook High School production showed he could handle a bigger scoring role, averaging **16.3 points per game** with solid all-around numbers in 2008-09. [2] If you need a guard with some prior offensive upside and local familiarity, he is worth a look; if you need immediate high-end creation or playmaking, the current stat profile suggests a development project.
