DJ Armstrong Jr. gives UMBC a sharp-shooting, veteran two-way guard
Armstrong is a productive left-handed grad transfer who delivered 13.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 41.9% shooting from three in 2025-26, earning second-team all-league recognition for UMBC.[2][3] The bigger story is his fit: he brings efficient perimeter scoring, experienced guard play, and a consistent offensive floor-raiser’s profile, which makes him appealing to a team that needs a steady shot-maker who can also handle real minutes and pace.[1][2]
