Damon Williamson brings experienced, versatile DB depth to Arizona State
Williamson is a seasoned defensive back whose value is built on game experience, special-teams utility, and steady tackling rather than splashy stat lines. At the University of Mary in 2019, he played all 11 games and posted 19 tackles with two pass breakups, then later appeared in action for Arizona State in 2022 and 2023, mostly in limited roles. The differentiator is reliability: he has shown he can handle multiple snaps, contribute on teams, and add depth in the secondary without needing the ball to find him.
