Canadian guard with pro polish, defensive grit, and veteran leadership
In her 2022-23 season at Oregon, Taya Hanson appeared in all 35 games and averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, giving the Ducks a steady two-way guard presence off the bench and in five starts. A Canadian national-team alum and former pro, Hanson brings maturity, spacing, and composure beyond the box score—useful traits for teams needing reliable backcourt depth, competitive toughness, and a player who understands roles. She’s not a volume scorer, but she’s the kind of experienced, adaptable guard coaches trust.
