Cedrica Yapp brings size and freshman upside to FAU’s backcourt
Cedrica Yapp is a 5-11 freshman guard for Florida Atlantic with hometown roots in North Lauderdale and a profile that suggests long-term development value more than immediate stat-sheet flash. At her size, she has a useful guard build that can translate to perimeter versatility, and as a freshman she’s still in the early stage of defining her role. Based on the available roster information, the key reason to watch her is upside: she’s a local prospect with physical tools that could fit a system needing length, development, and backcourt flexibility.
