6-foot-4 RHP with upside, but no 2026 game action yet
Winters is a freshman right-handed pitcher at New Haven listed at 6'4" and 185 pounds, a build that fits the classic power-arm mold, but the key 2026 note is simple: no game action and no current-season stats yet. That means the upside is in the profile, not the box score—projectable frame, pitcher’s role, and room to develop. If you’re evaluating fit, he looks more like a developmental bet than an immediate impact arm, which can be a very good thing if your staff knows how to coach a young heater into something spicy.
