Virginia’s dependable snapper: Justin Markey brings stability to special teams
Justin Markey’s value is in the little things that win field-position battles: clean snaps, consistency, and trust on special teams. Virginia’s current roster listings do not surface flashy counting stats for a long snapper, which is exactly the point—his job is to be invisible on Saturdays and perfect when the game gets weird. If you need a low-drama, high-reliability specialist who helps keep kicks and punts on schedule, Markey fits that profile well.
