Cydney Overton brings frontcourt upside and matchup value to Akron
Overton is the kind of forward who matters because of how she can change the game beyond the box score: she brings size, rim pressure, and interior presence that can help Akron on both ends. Publicly available prep data shows she has been a statistical standout, including top-tier ranking signals in her league and division[2], but there is not enough reliable recent reporting in the provided results to verify current Akron-season production or health status. If Akron is looking for a forward with upside, physicality, and a role that can grow, she looks like a fit.
