veteran UMass defensive lineman with proven roster presence
Clemons is a familiar, experienced piece on the UMass defensive line, listed by ESPN and UMass Athletics as a Massachusetts Minutemen DL wearing No. 49, with a background that dates back to his redshirt-senior season in 2013. His value is less about flashy stat output and more about veteran depth, size, and knowing how to hold his spot in the front seven—traits that matter for teams wanting stability and discipline up front. There is not enough recent public stat detail in the available sources to grade current production, but his profile suggests a reliable, scheme-ready interior body rather than a high-ceiling splash player.[1][5]
