North Carolina A&T LB Fred Freeman brings downhill physicality and roster-fighting upside
Fred Freeman is listed on North Carolina A&T’s 2026 football roster as a **6-2, 260-pound freshman linebacker**, which points to a big, physical frame built for run defense and contact-heavy play. His profile is currently light on public statistical output, so the key takeaway is projection: he looks like a size-and-strength defender who could fit best in a scheme that values inside toughness, gap discipline, and special-teams readiness. Because there’s no robust public production trail yet, he’s more of a development and upside watch than a proven impact starter right now.
