Elite NFL pass rusher with LSU roots
Hunter is a long, explosive edge defender whose biggest value is his ability to wreck passing games with consistent pressure, finishing the 2025 regular season with 15.0 sacks and 3 forced fumbles for Houston[4][5]. He already proved he can translate that juice into results in his first Texans season with 12 sacks in 2024[1][3]. The differentiators are rare length, high-end bend, and a track record of production when healthy; the main watch-out is durability, since his career has included injury interruptions even as his ceiling remains Pro Bowl-caliber[1][3].
