Army’s No-Nonsense Edge Defender with Scholar-Athlete DNA
Shawn Lemoto is a former Army West Point defensive end/linebacker whose profile points to a dependable, high-discipline front-seven player: at Crespi Carmelite High School he earned a varsity letter and was recognized as a team scholar-athlete, suggesting the kind of coachable, detail-oriented presence Army values on defense. While readily available public stat production is limited in the search results, his background fits the Black Knights’ brand—tough, assignment-sound, and built for a system that rewards effort, toughness, and versatility rather than flash. If you want a program-fit defender with a strong character baseline, he’s worth a look.
