Disciplined First Baseman Making Early Impact at Abilene Christian
The 20-year-old first baseman is showcasing impressive plate discipline in her 2026 season with the Wildcats, posting a balanced 12.3% strikeout rate and 12.3% walk rate (1.23 K:BB ratio). A right-handed hitter from the Plano area, Dawson brings versatility as both an infielder and pitcher. Her selective approach at the plate and ability to put the ball in play make her a reliable offensive contributor. Best fit for programs seeking a fundamentally sound, disciplined hitter who understands her strike zone and can contribute in multiple ways.
