George Mason's Steady-Handed Pass-First Guard
Alexsis Grate, George Mason's reliable guard, shone in the 2019-20 season with 4.8 PPG, 2.2 APG, and 2.1 RPG across 27 games, leading the team with a 3.2 APG in non-conference play—showcasing her elite playmaking vision and court IQ that elevates teammates. Her differentiator is unflappable poise under pressure, making her a low-turnover floor general ideal for teams needing a smart, intense leader who thrives in transition; no major injury history, but limited scoring means she's best as a facilitator, not a star scorer—perfect fit for balanced, team-oriented systems.
