Explosive SFA back whose speed can flip field position
Vincent Pervis is a dynamic, speed-first runner for Stephen F. Austin who built his reputation as a dangerous kick returner and an all-conference playmaker, with school coverage noting his low-4.40s speed and ability to change field position in a flash. In 2007, he earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a returner, and SFA later highlighted his upside as a back who had added muscle and patience while waiting for a bigger offensive role. He’s the kind of back who can stress defenses vertically and in space, making him a strong fit for teams that value burst, versatility, and hidden-yardage value.
