Rhode Island’s DB room needs a closer look
Tre Timbers appears on Rhode Island’s football roster as a defensive back, but there is not enough publicly available 2026 statistical or scouting detail to make a trustworthy performance read on him right now. The safest takeaway is that he’s in the conversation as part of a deep DB rotation, where value usually comes from versatility, special-teams impact, and reliability in coverage rather than headline numbers. If you’re evaluating fit, he’s a watch-list name rather than a fully graded one until more game data and coach/beat reporting surfaces.
