Christy Grover brings size, rim presence, and Maine depth to the frontcourt
Grover is a low-usage, interior-oriented center for Maine whose value comes from the non-glamorous stuff: protecting the paint, battling on the glass, and giving the Black Bears a physical anchor inside. Publicly available results here don’t provide current season stats or advanced metrics for a deeper performance read, so the best fit case is based on role and profile rather than box-score production. If you want a true post who can absorb contact, play with effort, and fit a defense-first frontcourt, she’s the kind of player worth caring about.
