Brooks Willoughby brings size, strike-throwing, and high-leverage relief upside
Brooks Willoughby is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound left-hander who worked out of the Southern Miss bullpen in 2025, going 3-0 with a 5.03 ERA, 22 strikeouts, nine walks, and one save in 19.2 innings, while holding opponents to a .224 average. He’s the kind of arm teams like to bet on: long-levered, left-handed, and capable of missing bats in relief, with enough poise to earn wins in pressure spots. The bigger question is consistency, but the profile screams usable depth with upside.
