Xavier's 6'3" Fr. RHP with 90 mph Fastball and Big East Championship Intensity
Roger Niedermaier, a 6'3", 190-lb freshman RHP for Xavier, stands out with a consistent 90 mph fastball and elite intensity that fueled Xavier's 2026 BIG EAST Regular Season Championship upset of No. 3 Georgia Tech in 10 innings. Ranked top 99 nationally and top 314 in Illinois as an RHP, he brings a 190-lb frame, right-handed dominance, and a personality defined by relentless competitiveness—evident in his 57 high school batters struck out. With no injury history and a 2026 season high of 3 runs scored, he's a perfect fit for teams needing a high-velocity, battle-tested arm who thrives under pressure and elevates teammates' intensity.
