Nick Dolbin gives Coppin State a versatile, workmanlike arm in 2026
In the 2026 season, Coppin State pitcher Nick Dolbin has been a useful depth arm, throwing 8.0 innings with 10 strikeouts, but also 9 walks, so the stuff is interesting while the command is still sharpening. He’s the kind of pitcher coaches like because he’ll take the ball and compete, and his frame/projectability suggest there may be more in the tank. For a team, the appeal is upside and toughness; the caution flag is consistency, since his strike-throwing has lagged behind his ability to miss bats.
