Paul Carter was a glass-cleaning, double-double threat for UIC
In the 2010-11 season, Paul Carter brought old-school frontcourt production to UIC: 14.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while starting 30 of 31 games, earning Horizon League All-Newcomer honors and piling up 11 double-doubles. He was valued for physical rebounding, timely scoring, and veteran poise after transferring from Minnesota. The big takeaway: if you need a forward who can rebound, punish mistakes, and stabilize a lineup, Carter fits; if you need explosive perimeter creation, he’s more complementary than flashy.
