Jose Bludau gives UIW a steady bullpen arm with late-season reliability
Jose Bludau profiles as a dependable right-handed reliever for Incarnate Word in the 2026 season, with recent game logs showing he has been used in meaningful conference spots and can work multiple innings; he took the loss on May 2, 2026 after allowing two runs in two innings, but UIW also trusted him in a scoreless combined bullpen effort on April 26, 2026. The big selling point is consistency and flexibility, plus the fact that he earned a spot on UIW’s 2026 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll—good signs for a coach looking for a competitive, dependable arm rather than pure flash.
