Marist’s stout edge-setter with a proven track record
James Desautels built his Marist profile as a durable, high-effort defensive lineman who started all 11 games in 2011, earned All-PFL honorable mention, and finished second on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss and 45 total tackles in the 2011 season. He reads like the kind of front-seven player coaches love: physical, assignment-sound, and productive enough to disrupt plays without needing the spotlight. If you want a reliable DL who shows up, sets a tone, and brings steady backfield pressure, he’s the type.
