Rod Pickett gives Missouri State a proven, high-volume linebacker presence
In the 2025 season, Rod Pickett returned strong from a comeback year and started all 13 games, finishing with a team-high 77 total tackles for Missouri State[12]. That kind of workload says a lot: he’s reliable, durable, and clearly trusted as an every-down defender who brings consistency and range in the middle. For a team looking for a steady, physical linebacker with production and leadership value, Pickett looks like a smart fit—less flash, more “gets the job done” football.
