Austin Thomas brings veteran safety instincts and proven tackling production to Indiana
Austin Thomas’s value is in his proven production and reliability at strong safety: his Indiana roster bio says he finished his career with 30 starts, 269 tackles, and 7 interceptions, which points to a defender who reads plays well and finishes them. He fits best as a steady, physical back-end piece rather than a flashy highlight reel player, with the kind of discipline and ball awareness coaches trust in tight games. If you need a safety who can tackle, cover space, and stay assignment-sound, he is a strong fit.
