Sheldon Fleming brings veteran, multi-sport toughness to EKU’s front
Sheldon Fleming is a seasoned Eastern Kentucky defensive lineman whose profile has been built on size, versatility, and gritty production over multiple seasons; in the 2016 season, EKU listed him at 6-foot-3, 247 pounds, and his stat line included an interception against Austin Peay plus prior backfield disruption in 2014. His biggest differentiators are leverage, competitive intensity, and unusual athletic background—he also competed in track and field at EKU, which hints at the explosiveness that can translate up front. For a team wanting a physical, experienced DL who can hold the edge and play with effort, he looks like a solid fit.
