Mack Mercer brings efficient scoring and size to Belmont’s frontcourt
Mercer is a **6-8 forward** who gives Belmont a steady, efficient interior/face-up option, averaging **5.5 points** and **2.4 rebounds** while shooting **52.3%** from the field in the current stat set, with FOX Sports listing him at **6.5 points**, **2.9 rebounds**, and **54.3% FG** in another current snapshot.[2][1] His value is less about flashy volume and more about **reliable efficiency**, positional length, and low-usage toughness—traits that can fit a team needing a complementary forward who finishes cleanly and doesn’t force offense.[3][2]
