Jennifer DeWitt brings low-usage, defense-first guard energy to Delaware State
Jennifer DeWitt profiles as a deep-rotation guard for Delaware State, posting modest 2025-26 production at 0.8 points, 0.4 assists, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.3 steals per game while playing 8.2 minutes a night. The appeal is less about box-score pop and more about fit: she offers backcourt depth, some defensive activity, and a steady role-player profile for a Hornets team that needs every capable possession-winner it can get. If you want a high-usage scorer, she’s not that. If you want a grinder who can fill minutes without forcing the action, she’s a reasonable bench piece.
