FIU’s Paul McCall is a program footnote, not a 2026 roster piece
Paul McCall is not currently an active FIU quarterback in 2026; the available data shows him as a former Panthers QB from 2005-09, with 5,189 career passing yards for FIU and a reputation as a durable, full-time starter in 2008, when he completed 167 of 317 passes for a 52.7% rate and earned honorable mention All-Sun Belt honors. He’s more a historical reference point than a current roster fit, but his profile suggests steadiness, experience in a spread-era offense, and enough staying power to stack reps even if the efficiency wasn’t flashy.
