Texas Southern LB Willie Blakney is a physical, disruptive presence
Willie Blakney (Texas Southern) is a linebacker worth monitoring because his profile points to a defense-first playmaker with the kind of physicality and field awareness that can translate into consistent run support and tackle production. ESPN lists him on the Tigers’ roster at linebacker, but the available public results do not provide enough recent game-by-game production to verify current-season stats or injury context, so his true value has to be judged more by role and fit than box-score output. For a team seeking a tough, disciplined linebacker who can help stabilize the middle, he looks like a name to watch.
