veteran Wake Forest linebacker with size, range, and early-career flashes
Kevis Jones is a former Wake Forest linebacker who entered the program as a well-regarded Florida recruit, listed at 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, and was noted for early versatility and special-teams value. Wake Forest’s roster bio says he redshirted in 2012, while the 2013 roster lists him as a redshirt freshman after being rated No. 7 in Broward County coming out of high school. He looks like the kind of defender who brings length, physicality, and some downhill pop — useful traits if you want a linebacker who can fit multiple fronts rather than just chase stats.
