Christian Porter brings veteran DB chops to Stony Brook
Christian Porter is a seasoned Stony Brook defensive back with proven game experience: in the 2023 season notes, he was listed as a sixth-year player who had appeared in 36 games, made 67 tackles, defended 11 passes, and intercepted two passes. That kind of résumé screams reliability, toughness, and instincts in coverage—exactly the sort of steady, older-school defender coaches love when they want consistency more than flash. If your team needs a DB who has already seen plenty of snaps and can hold up in the grind, Porter is the kind of fit that quietly helps winning happen.
