Redshirt Sophomore arm with early-career strike-throwing pedigree
Rodenberg’s calling card is his ability to keep hitters off balance: in the 2023 season, he opened his college career with 22 scoreless innings and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference, which is exactly the kind of low-drama, high-leverage profile coaches love in a right-handed pitcher[1]. South Alabama’s roster lists him as a redshirt sophomore RHP in the 2026 season after a redshirt year, so the appeal is still upside plus experience rather than a finished product[1]. If your team wants a pitcher with poise, strike-throwing confidence, and a track record of preventing damage, he’s a name worth caring about[1].
