Ben Sabal brings veteran TE steadiness and trusted hands to Drake
A senior tight end for Drake, Ben Sabal has been a reliable, multi-year contributor, with the program listing him as a returning starter who played in 19 games and started 10 in his first two seasons. In the 2011 season, he was credited with 14 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown, showing usable production from the TE spot rather than just blocking value. What makes him interesting is the combo of experience, size, and role trust: he’s the kind of dependable, in-system target coaches love when they need a steady chain-mover and a mature locker-room presence.
