Boise State linebacker with veteran depth, but limited on-field production
Hefty was a 6-foot-1, 221-pound linebacker for Boise State from 2001-2004, but the available stat lines show minimal recorded production, including no tackles in StatMuse’s season summary and only sparse game-by-game entries in Boise State’s roster archive.[1][3][4] The main reason to care is roster context rather than box-score impact: he provided depth in a physically demanding position group, but there is no strong evidence from the available sources of standout statistical performance, playmaking volume, or an injury-driven breakout profile.[1][3][4]
