Roosevelt Lawrence brings veteran DB production and ball skills to UNI
Lawrence showed in his 2018 season at UNI that he can be a reliable, game-ready defensive back: he played in 12 games, started eight, made 32 tackles, and added an interception plus a pass breakup, with a season-high six stops against North Dakota State.[1] The differentiator is his proven ability to contribute both in coverage and against the run, which makes him a useful fit for a defense that values disciplined, assignment-sound secondary play.[1]
