Veteran Troy defensive back with scout-team toughness and special-teams value
Nick Manuel is a Troy defensive back/spear whose profile centers on size, physicality, and reliability rather than flashy box-score production; Troy’s roster lists him at 5-11, 184, and notes he did not see game action in his early seasons while working on the scout team. That background suggests a player built on discipline, effort, and depth-value upside, which can matter more than raw stats for a team looking for a dependable, coachable defensive back with special-teams potential and a hard-nosed fit in a physical system.[4]
