Reliable, rostered, and ready: Chase Schubert anchors SDSU’s long-snapping depth
Chase Schubert is a sophomore long snapper for San Diego State in the 2026 season, listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, and he arrives with college experience from Blinn College, where he played in 9 games as a freshman. He’s not a stat-sheet star, but that’s the point: long snappers are valued for precision, consistency, and calm under pressure, and Schubert’s roster spot suggests the staff trusts his reliability. If your team wants special-teams stability over flash, he fits the bill.
