Haylie Hedrington brings elite contact upside and lineup flexibility to NDSU
Hedrington is an intriguing North Dakota State outfielder because her early college résumé already shows **high-efficiency offense**—she hit .472 with a .519 on-base percentage in 13 games, while also scoring six runs and giving the Bison a left-handed bat that can fit in multiple spots. Her background suggests added value beyond the box score: recruiting profiles describe her as versatile across **first base, catcher, and outfield**, which usually points to a coachable, adaptable player who can help a roster in more than one way.
