Portland State DT John Jackson: physical interior presence with upside as a run-stopper
John Jackson is the kind of defensive tackle who can matter beyond box-score stats: a sturdy interior player whose value comes from disrupting the run game, holding gaps, and creating ugliness up front. The main caveat is that the search results do not provide Portland State-specific 2026 production or recent scouting notes, so his current form is difficult to verify from reliable public data. If your team needs a tough, assignment-sound interior defender rather than a flashy stat producer, Jackson profiles as a fit worth tracking.
