Data-Driven Point Guard with Elite Shooting Intensity for Hawaii
Matt Owies, the 5'10" Australian point guard for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, differentiates himself through a relentless, data-backed shooting intensity and a 49% field goal rate in conference play during the 2016–17 season, not just his 2.6 ppg average. His differentiator is a personality trait of 'oral commitment' first-mover energy and a high-intensity defensive mindset that statistics like 0.9 apg can't capture; he has no significant injury history, making him a durable, low-risk fit. Owies is a perfect fit for teams needing a gritty, reliable guard who leads with shooting precision and a 'first commitment' mentality, proving he's a good fit for any squad valuing intensity over flash.
