Fast, physical Lobo linebacker with room to rise
Ben Wysong is an intriguing New Mexico linebacker prospect because his profile is built on effort, athleticism, and upside more than box-score noise. Public roster and coverage data on his 2026 role is limited, but he stands out as the kind of Lobo who can win trust with speed, toughness, and special-teams value before becoming a bigger defensive piece. If your team wants a tone-setter who plays hard and can develop into a useful, versatile depth linebacker, Wysong is worth a look.
