Navuan Peterson gives Gardner-Webb a mature, versatile forward with real scoring punch
In the 2025-26 season, Navuan Peterson has been a steady rotation piece for Gardner-Webb, averaging 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13 minutes per game while shooting 34.1% from the field and 26.7% from three. The bigger story is his fit: a 6-6 senior with proven experience, he brings size, positional flexibility, and the kind of veteran edge that showed up in his 17-point outing against Charleston Southern in the 2025-26 season. If a team wants a forward who can space the floor, defend multiple spots, and bring toughness without needing touches, Peterson is an easy name to like.
