VMI’s rising linebacker with real upside
Dakota Nicely is a VMI linebacker worth watching because he brings the kind of physical, no-nonsense edge that coaches love in the middle of a defense. Publicly available roster and bio info on VMI’s current football pages is thin, but the key takeaway is that he’s part of a program that values toughness, discipline, and special-teams grit — traits that often translate well for linebackers fighting for snaps. If your team wants a worker-bee defender with a military-school mentality and room to grow, Nicely fits the mold.
