Charlotte catcher Aaron Orozco brings size, upside, and transfer-portal depth
Aaron Orozco is a **6-foot-2, 200-plus-pound right-handed catcher** whose profile is built on physical upside and developmental potential rather than a long published statistical track record; recruiting reports describe him as tall and strong with a compact right-handed swing, and recent Charlotte roster/portal notes suggest he is a transfer with multiple years of eligibility remaining. He looks like a good fit for a staff that values catchers who can add physicality, project for more power, and develop into a steady defensive presence, but the public data does not yet show a proven college production baseline.[4][5][6]
