Jordan Watkins brings strikeout stuff, but his 2026 results have been uneven
In the 2026 season, Air Force freshman RHP Jordan Watkins has flashed a swing-and-miss fastball/changeup mix that coaches said could produce “straight Ks,” and he logged a personal-best five innings with four strikeouts against Utah Valley[12][4]. But the year has also been bumpy: he entered the late-season stretch with a 9.93 ERA over 35.1 innings and 24 strikeouts, and his starts have ranged from efficient to hit-hard outings[14][10][2]. If your team wants upside and arm talent, he’s intriguing; if you need instant polish, the volatility is the caution flag.
