Kareen Taylor brings veteran defensive-back experience to UNC
Kareen Taylor is listed as a **defensive back** for North Carolina, and the clearest evidence of his value is the kind of proven, disruption-heavy play he showed in his previous college stops: in 2021 at Western Carolina, he led the defense with **105 tackles**, added **6 tackles for loss**, **2 sacks**, and returned a forced fumble for a touchdown. That profile points to a physical, high-volume tackler who can make impact plays, which is exactly the sort of edge a secondary needs from an experienced, assignment-sound defender.
