Kylinn Stangl brings two-way upside and local grit to Minnesota’s staff
Kylinn Stangl is a Minnesota native joining the Gophers’ 2025-26 roster, and her appeal is the rare two-way profile of a right-handed pitcher who can also help infield depth. She already showed she can handle meaningful innings for Minnesota, earning a win in a 7-6 victory over LIU, which suggests real trust from the coaching staff in pressure moments. The biggest draw is versatility: she can help stabilize a game in the circle while giving the lineup and defense added flexibility. That makes her a smart fit for a team that values competitive edge, roster balance, and local talent.
